Voke Engineering Services considers CASHES as an integral part of its business structure and working philosophy and is valued in the same manner as other primary objectives such as quality, production, schedule and cost. 

It is VOKE’s Policy that activities are planned and executed in a manner that:

Preserves the health, safety and Security of its employees, sub-contractors and third party who may be affected by VOKE’s operations.

Minimize impact of its operation on the environment.

Is sensitive to the needs of the host communities.

All projects shall be executed in compliance with National and International safety codes and standards.

That everybody has a joint responsibility for CASHES.

Recognize that no activity shall be carried out unless considered safe.

 

 

COMMUNITY AFFAIRS, SAFETY, HEALTH, ENVIRONMENT AND SECURITY (CASHES) POLICY

  • Implications of this Policy are that:

All activities shall be analyzed to systematically identify related hazard; and be prepared to respond to emergency situation that may arise.

Any activity that is unhealthy, unsafe, and environmentally unsound or may adversely impact relations with the community shall be suspended until an acceptable solution is found.

An activity, in the view of the employee that cannot be carried out in accordance with the policy, must be suspended and reported immediately to the relevant Voke Engineering supervisor.
